Refund policy
Given the limited shelf life of the products offered by the seller, the buyer has no right of withdrawal under the Belgian Economic Law Code.
However, the buyer may always report any problem or defect related to the delivery or the product (e.g., a quality defect) in writing within 7 calendar days of receipt to the seller’s address by registered mail.
The seller will notify the buyer immediately upon receipt of the complaint about its handling. The seller will then investigate the complaint thoroughly.
The seller may then:
a. uphold the complaint and immediately refund the buyer;
b. withhold the complaint and examine the product further;
c. reject the complaint.
a. If, after thorough investigation, the seller determines that the complaint is justified, the seller shall — without further product examination — refund the purchase price paid by the buyer (including any payments made by the buyer to return the products, provided the fairest return method was used) within 15 calendar days after receiving the returned product, to the account indicated by the buyer. The refund will be made using the same payment method as the original transaction, unless the buyer has explicitly agreed otherwise. In any case, the buyer will not incur any costs for such a refund.
b. It is possible that, after a thorough investigation, the seller doubts the validity of the complaint and further examination is required. In that case, the seller will withhold the complaint and request that the buyer return the product in question (with the original label still attached) along with the packaging and any accompanying documentation, warranty certificates, and packaging materials within 7 calendar days after the request, by registered mail or hand delivery with receipt. Failure to comply may result in the complaint not being considered. The buyer will be deemed to have acted in time if the products are returned before the 7-day period expires. After receiving the product, the seller may inspect it thoroughly and carry out all necessary tests and examinations.
If, after inspection, the complaint is found to be justified, the seller will refund the purchase price to the buyer as described under point a.
If the complaint is found to be unjustified after inspection, the complaint will be rejected. The seller will immediately inform the buyer and provide clear reasons for the rejection.
c. If, after an initial thorough check, the complaint is found to be unjustified, the complaint will also be rejected. The seller will immediately inform the buyer and provide clear reasons for the rejection.
